Principles and practice of loss adjusting
Course Description
The course focuses on the conduct required of claims technical skills which enhance the handling of insurance claims. The students will move from understanding claims situations and evaluation of policy coverage to determining how much of a claim is payable. The students will learn the fundamentals of investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement within the claims process.
It will cover the scope and estimate a property claim, capture the foundation for understanding general estimating processes, preparation of adjustment report and help to achieve proficiency.
