Principles and practice of motor insurance

Course Description

The course is designed to introduce the students to what motor insurance coverage and how it works with the view to gaining skills in assessment of motor vehicle insurance claims.

 Course Objectives:

1. To appreciate the development and trends in the policy types of motor insurance.
2. To understand and interpret analyze motor insurance needs and apply best method approaches when assessing insurance policies
3. To understand procedures of settling claims under the motor insurance policies
4. To grasp the basic considerations when writing and rating risk in motor insurance
