Course description

This course covers analyzing liability risks, policy wording for liability risks, underwriting liability risks, providing a quote, negotiating with brokers, reviewing and interpreting portfolio performance.

Course objectives

  1. To understand the different liability risks and the insurance policies
  2. To understand the concept of liability and its types
  3. To appreciate the different underwriting of liability insurance policies
  4. To describe the problems and challenges of liability insurance application and how to address them

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, participants should be able:

  1. To analyze liability risks under the different policies and policy wording for liability risks
  2. To underwrite liability risks under the product liability insurance
  3. To underwrite liability risks under the professional liability insurance policy
  4. To identify the Workers Compensation and employer's liability insurance policy
