Course Description

The oil and gas business has its own set of challenges that most agencies cannot handle. The oil & gas processes are big and complex and so the risk level is high. Therefore, complex insurance solutions to adequately cover the high risks inherent are required. The oil and gas sector involves many stages and these have to be covered comprehensively. This course therefore examines the different insurance covers necessary for this sector.

Course Objectives

  1. To explain students the fundamentals of the oil & gas operations
  2. To help students understand the complex nature of gas policies
  3. To introduce students to the process of underwriting the various insurance policies in the upstream and downstream of the oil chain.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to;
